Albert Glassburn

March 12, 1924 — November 1, 2017

Albert Hays Glassburn , 93, went home to be with Jesus November 1st 2017. He was born in
Torrington, Wyoming in 1924. He graduated from high school and went straight into World War
II. When he returned home with honorable discharge he ran a farm and cattle ranch in
Carpenter, Wyoming. He had twins, Nina and Diana, with Dorothy Rife in 1949. He has 5
grandkids, 12 great grandkids, and 2 weeks ago his great-great grandchild was born. The Lord
was a very important part of his life. He was very active in the church. Albert always wanted to
live in the mountains. Mary and Al moved to Jackson Hole, Wyoming in 1984 and built their
house. His mules and horses were his babies. Albert and Ray Weeks were some of the first
houses in game creek at the time. Together they liked to hunt, ride snowmobiles, go on pack
trips and fish. He loved the outdoors.
