Betty Miller

Betty MILLER, 92, our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, passed on November 17, 2013. Betty was born December 11, 1920 to Marion Bohn and Frank J. Meyers. She graduated from Rawlins High School. Betty earned her teaching degree from the University of Wyoming in 1940. She belonged to the Delta Delta Delta Sorority at the University, taught school in Sand Creek, Rawlins, and Baggs, Wyoming where she met her future husband Robert Miller. They married in 1946 in Jackson. Robert was in the Air Force, and they traveled widely throughout their married life. Betty was preceded in death by her brothers Ralph, Harold, and Burt, and her parents. Betty is survived by her husband, Robert, and her four daughters, Nancy (Dennie), Barbara (Bruce), Jane (Peter), and Carol (Phil). She is also survived by grandchildren Clark, Marie, Garrett, George, and Karlee. Betty was so loving, always reached out to people, and made conversation with everyone. Also, she was soft spoken, and always generous with her time. Betty's Celebration of Life Mass will be Friday, November 29, 2013 at 4:00 at Our Lady of the Mountains Catholic Church in Jackson.
