Delores Price aged 83, from Alpine, Wyoming, died Thursday, February 23, 2012 at St. John's Hospital, Jackson, Wyoming. Delores was born July 21, 1928 in Washington, D. C. to Sarah Catherine and Andrew John Callan. Delores married Vincent (Bud) H. Price Jr. in 1947. Before moving to Wyoming, Delores resided 23 years in Ellenton, Florida. She was a homemaker and raised her family in Rockville, Maryland. Delores attended the Jackson School in Georgetown. In the 1980's Delores and Bud operated a child daycare center. Following retirement and for many years, Delores received numerous letters of appreciation from parents and students. In the 1940's Delores worked in a photo lab coloring black and white portrait photos. In the 1960's she managed the hardware section of the Zayre Department store. Throughout her life, Delores enjoyed roller skating and was known as the roller-skating great-grandma. Delores is survived by her three children; Linda M. Guimarin, John A. Price, and Sandra A. Holter-Price; four grandchildren, Delores (Guimarin) Turner, William Welch, Aaron Price, and Danielle (Price) Rinker; six great-grandchildren, Ashley Turner, Brent Turner, Marisa Turner, Natalie Price, Chloe Price, and Geoffrey Rinker. Delores is also survived by her dear friend and companion, Nathan Blume. Delores is preceded in death by husband, Vincent Price, Jr., Sister Helen McKeaver and brothers William and Edward Callan. This spring, a memorial service will be held at Holy Trinity Church in Washington, D.C. She will be interned beside husband, Vincent at the Arlington National Cemetery, Virginia.
