Karen Wilson

Karen (Anne) Brink Wilson passed away on November 6, 2013 at 68 years of age surrounded by family in her residence in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. She was born on May 18, 1945 in Greeley, Colorado to Frank and Helen Brink. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from University of Northern Colorado in Speech Therapy. Karen married Philip Wendell Wilson on April 8, 1967 and they raised three children, Longhorn cattle and Arabian horses on Teton Valley Ranch in Kelly, Wyoming. In 1991 Karen and Phil moved to Mesquite, Nevada where they lived in the desert for 22 years raising dogs, peacocks, chickens, ducks, beautiful gardens and palm trees. She enjoyed playing bridge with her dear friend Bernice Turner. Karen is survived by her husband Philip Wilson, her daughters Laura Davenport and Pam Wilson, her son Paul Wilson, her grandchildren Emilie Johnson, Nicole Johnson, Zachary Johnson, Tucker Wilson, Georgia Evans and Sam Evans, her son and daughter in laws Will Davenport, Liz Gilliam and Kristin Wilson. She was preceded in death by her father Frank Brink and her mother Helen Brink. A small family graveside service was held on Saturday, November 16th.
