Norman Cornforth

November 7, 1915 — April 24, 2009

Norman Young Cornforth, age 93, of Jackson, Wyoming died Friday, April 24, 2009 at the St. John's Living Center in Jackson.

Norman was born November 7, 1915 in Elbert, Colorado. He served in the Airforce in World War II. He worked for McDonell Douglas helping build airplanes and assisted in the design of the Saturn Project that went to the moon. He enjoyed gardening and sitting with his beloved dog, Biscuit and cat Blue.

He is survived by his 2 daughters Kathy Ward of Lee Summit, Missouri and Linda Lage of Jackson.

A graveside funeral will be held at the Elbert Cemetery in Elbert, Colorado at a later date. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the Valley Mortuary in Jackson.
