Reverend Randolph G. Owsley

Reverend Randolph G. Owsley, age 85, of both Jackson, Wyoming and Palm Harbor, Florida, died suddenly Tuesday, May 12, 2015, at his home in Jackson.
He served in the Air Force. He was a water skiing performer at Cyprus Gardens, Florida. He was a gifted athlete and participated in tennis, hockey, swimming and skiing.
Randolph married Esther “Doonie” on May 5, 1991. He was known affectionately by his friends as simply “Reverend”. Along with his wife, he served many years in Florida in the nursing home ministry.
He loved antique cars and was an author of several books. His true love and focus was on God’s holy word and his devoted wife, Doonie.
He is survived by his wife; a son, Dr. David Horner of Jackson; 2 daughters: Laura “Lolly” (Alan) Hightower of Montreat, North Carolina and Beth Ann (David) Parker of Estero, Florida; and 4 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his daughter Barbara “Babbie” Owsley and son Gibson Owsley.
Private graveside services will be held on a later date at the Sylvan Abbey Memorial Park in Clearwater, Florida.
